Fellow

Born and raised in Calgary, Simon Hasan completed my undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology at the University of Calgary before heading to the University of Alberta to complete my medical degree (MD). Simon completed his postgraduate medical training in Internal Medicine at the University of British Columbia, and will now be undertaking his fellowship in Adult Critical Care Medicine at UBC. In addition to his clinical training, Simon is completing a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health this coming year, with an interest in quality of care and longitudinal outcomes following Intensive Care admission. Away from medicine Simon is a lifelong soccer fan, having played at the university level, and will only wake up before 10 AM on a Saturday to watch Manchester United play.
