Dr. Keir Martyn

A Vancouver-born internist and respirologist returning home to begin his Critical Care Medicine fellowship at UBC. He completed his medical school and internal medicine training at UBC, followed by a respirology residency at the University of Toronto. Keir is interested in bridging ICU and longitudinal care, with a focus on post-ARDS recovery and the management of chronically ventilated patients. He hopes to build a practice that integrates his expertise to provide long-term support for survivors of critical illness.

Outside of medicine, Keir is happiest exploring the outdoors—thrilled to be back on the West Coast enjoying skiing, hiking, sailing, and adventuring with his wife and high-energy puppy.
