Emma is so happy to be joining the critical care family at UBC! She is originally from Winnipeg, and completed both her undergraduate science degree and medical school degree at the University of Manitoba. Emma was thrilled to match to UBC for her Internal Medicine residency. During this time, she had the opportunity to work as the Chief Medical Resident at Royal Columbian Hospital. Her academic interests include medical education and end of life care in the ICU. Outside of medicine, she loves pottery, photography, trail running and outdoor adventures.
