Fellow

Dr. Aman Montezari

Born in England and raised in Iran, Aman has lived in Dubai, Winnipeg, and Toronto before settling in Vancouver. He completed an MSc in Electrical Engineering and worked as a software lead at GE before transitioning to medicine.

He currently serves as ICU Lead at Fort St. John Hospital, where he helped reopen the ICU in 2024, and is excited to pursue his Critical Care Medicine fellowship at UBC. Aman is especially drawn to the physiology of critically ill patients and has a lifelong passion for integrating medicine with electrical engineering.

Outside of medicine, he is a certified divemaster and enjoys discovering new places—both underwater and through food and travel.
